The first one then let out a sigh, And said, "I saw a creature fly, With wings so dark and veins awry, Its victims left to suffer and die." The other shivered at the sound, And said, "I saw a beast profound, With teeth so sharp and limbs unbound, Its prey left scattered on the ground." The two then paused, their faces pale, And wondered if they could prevail, Against the terrors of this tale, And wake up from this nightmare jail.
